We appreciate that many players don't regularly play the oboe d'amore and might be unsure of which staple length is best for their set-up.
The d'amore reed is offered in two different lengths in response to the considerably varied set-ups of this instrument.
Our feeling is that the 26.5mm staple can offer a particularly rounded and powerful sound, but the 25mm staple can offer greater agility, flexibility and responsiveness.
All reeds are finished by hand, tested and checked personally.
